MX3

MX3

Previously known as the MXD class, the MX3 class offers riders aged 14-18 years a pathway to the ProMX series while exposing them to the style of racing and track conditions they would experience on the professional circuit.

Each State Controlling Body in Australia will select two six-rider MX3 and MX85 teams via their own qualifying processes, which will include ProMX and state championship events.

Three trophies will be awarded: to the top states in MX3 and MX85, and an overall winner.

More details on the State of Origin support classes will be made available in the New Year.

The MAXXIS MX3 class prepares young riders on 122CC-150CC two-stroke and 250CC four-stroke capacity motorcycles for a transition to the THOR MX1 and Pirelli MX2 pro classes as early as 15 years of age, in-line with FIM international age requirements, and is also open to both male and female riders.
