MX85

The MX85 category was introduced in 2023 as an Aussie Team qualifier for the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship.

Each State Controlling Body in Australia will select two six-rider MX3 and MX85 teams via their own qualifying processes, which will include ProMX and state championship events.

Three trophies will be awarded: to the top states in MX3 and MX85, and an overall winner.

More details on the State of Origin support classes will be made available in the New Year.

Open to both male and female competitors aged 12-16 years riding on two-stroke 85CC big wheel bikes, the Fox Racing MX85 cup exposes younger riders to the structure and format that they would encounter in the international competition.
