When and where is the MXGP of Australia event?

The event returns to the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex, Darwin in 2027.

I can’t find my tickets, please help!

Log in to your Ticketek account online or via the Ticketek app to download them from your order history.

Launch the Ticketek app and sign into the account used to purchase your tickets.

• Share any additional tickets to the other members of your group prior to arriving at the venue, so they can download and access ahead of time.

  • Tap on 'Tickets' in the Ticketek app.

  • Find the upcoming event and tap ‘Share’ to securely share tickets via mobile number or email. Repeat for each ticket.

• Add your ticket/s to your Apple or Google wallet.
  This will be the only way to guarantee you can access your tickets even if there is network congestion on the day. Remind your group to do the same!

  • Tap on 'Tickets' in the Ticketek app.

  • Find the upcoming event and tap ‘Add to Wallet’ to open your ticket/s & add to wallet.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Ticketek offers an optional Refundable Ticket Upgrade at the time of purchase. If you select this upgrade, you'll be eligible for a 100% refund if you're unable to attend due to one of the reasons covered in the Refundable Terms and Conditions. This option is only available during the initial ticket purchase and cannot be added later.

If you didn’t select the refundable upgrade and can no longer attend, you can list your ticket for resale on the Ticketek Marketplace, a secure platform where fans can buy and sell official tickets.

Will there be a concession priced ticket?

Concession ticket prices will be available for Full-Time Students, Seniors, Pensioners, Australian Health Care cardholders and Veterans Affairs cardholders. Concession pricing is available for General Admission, single day tickets only.

How do I purchase tickets for the MXGP of Australia event?

Limited Edition Hot Pass tickets for 2027 are available now.

What are the accommodation options in Darwin?

Can I bring an umbrella?

Yes, you can bring a small rain umbrella. Please note however no beach umbrellas or shade structures are permitted.

What items can’t I bring in?

Glass or cans; illegal substances, including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs, alcohol; e-cigarette juice; Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray (pepper spray), perfumes, aftershaves or deodorants (no aerosols permitted); flares or fireworks; laser pointers; weapons, or resemblance of weapons, including knives, firearms, blunt offensive objects, batons and those with sharp ends; projectile items, including balls, Frisbees, rackets or similar objects; inflatable items; bicycles, skateboards, skates and scooters and helmets of any form; political or offensive materials; recording devices (for commercial purposes) and tripods, drones or any remote-controlled devices; selfie sticks, flag poles of more than 1 metre in length / banners or flags larger than 1m x 2m; eskies and bags of larger dimensions than 35cm in height, 20cm in width and 30cm in length (i.e. too large to be stored under a seat), including motorised eskies; masks or full-face coverings (unless for medical or religious purposes); animals (other than trained assistance dogs); musical instruments and noise makers, including drums, whistles, air horns and loud hailers without the prior consent of Venue management; other items as determined by staff that may cause injury, public nuisance or safety concerns.

Can I bring my own food and drinks to the event?

Yes, pack a picnic, however only plastic or preferably bamboo cutlery please! Please note you can bring in a bottle of sealed water only or bring an empty bottle and fill up at one of our refill stations (no cold drinks or other drinks will be permitted). If you're still hungry, we have a great range of catering options available to suit all tastes.

Can I bring a utility wagon?

Yes, you are permitted to bring a collapsible wagon or cart into the venue to help carry your gear and supplies.

What will the weather be like?

Late September in Darwin? Expect warm sunny days in the low 30s °C, plenty of sunshine and tropical humidity.

UV levels may be high, so don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, and sunnies!

We advise you to prepare for the MXGP of Australia accordingly with sun-safe gear and staying hydrated throughout the day. 

You are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring an empty drink bottle to the event, we will have ample water refill stations throughout the site to refill your bottle throughout the day.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

MXGP of Australia is affiliated with Companion Cards to ensure all patrons have full and equal access to the event.

Companion cardholders can book a Companion Card ticket when accompanying a General Admission paying ticket holder. This can be done during the purchase process on Ticketek. Please choose the Companion Card option. This is limited to one companion per ticket holder. You may be asked to show your companion card at the entry. Ticketek Accessible Ticketing Terms and Conditions apply.

Can I bring my own fold-up chair?

Yes, we are encouraging fans to bring their own chairs. Hidden Valley is a natural amphitheater with plenty of natural and temporary shade throughout the venue.

Is the event family-friendly?

Absolutely! The MXGP of Australia event is suitable for fans of all ages, with plenty of activities for families to be announced soon. Please note this is a LOUD event, so we recommend you kit them out with some kind of ear protection! Earplugs will be available for free from the information booths.

Children 12 and under are free, and you are required to purchase a ticket for entry. Up to two children can be booked per paying adult.

How can I opt out of event photography and videography?

Photography and videography may take place during the event for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded, can head to the Information Booth or Ticket Office and discuss with the event staff upon arrival. You will receive an identifying wristband, that you can wear for the duration of the event. Photographers and Videographers are briefed to make all reasonable efforts to ensure you are not included in event photography or video recordings.
