When and where is the MXGP of Australia event?
The event will take place at a custom-built track at the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex in Darwin from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st September 2025. Keep an eye on our socials and sign up to our newsletter to stay in the loop with other important announcements.
Ticketing Information
Will there be a concession priced ticket?
Concession ticket prices will be available for Full-Time Students, Seniors, Pensioners, Australian Health Care Card Holders and Veterans Affairs Card Holders.

Transport and getting there
What are the accommodation options in Darwin?

What transportation options are available to and from the event?
A free bus service will run to and from the venue throughout the event.
Darwin is relatively small and easy to navigate. For airport transfers, you can choose from taxis, a shuttle bus, or rideshare options. Within the city, e-scooters and e-bikes are also available for convenient travel. Hidden Valley is just a 10-minute drive from the city center.
Is there parking available at the event venue?
Yes, parking will be available at the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex. More details will be provided closer to the event.
What can I bring?
What items can’t I bring in?
Glass or cans; illegal substances, including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs, alcohol; e-cigarette juice; perfumes, aftershaves or deodorants; flares or fireworks; laser pointers; weapons, or resemblance of weapons, including knives, firearms, blunt offensive objects, batons and those with sharp ends; projectile items, including balls, frisbees, rackets or similar objects; inflatable items; bicycles, skateboards, skates and scooters and helmets of any form; political or offensive materials; recording devices (for commercial purposes) and tripods, drones or any remote-controlled devices; selfie sticks, flag poles of more than 1 metre in length / banners or flags larger than 1m x 2m; eskies and bags of larger dimensions than 35cm in height, 20cm in width and 30cm in length (i.e. too large to be stored under a seat), including motorized eskies; masks or full-face coverings (unless for medical or religious purposes); animals (other than trained assistance dogs); musical instruments and noise makers, including drums, whistles, air horns and loud hailers without the prior consent of Venue management; other items as determined by NTMEC that may cause injury, public nuisance or safety concerns.
Can I bring my own food and drinks to the event?
Yes, pack a picnic, however only plastic or preferably bamboo cutlery please! Please note you can bring in a bottle of sealed water only or bring an empty bottle and fill up at one of our refill stations (no cold drinks or other drinks will be permitted). If you're still hungry, we have a great range of catering options available to suit all tastes.

Motorcycling Australia manages the volunteers for MXGP of Australia. If you are interested in volunteering at the event, you can find more information on their website here.
Do you accept Companion Cards?
NTMEC is affiliated with Companion Cards to ensure all patrons of MXGP of Australia 2025 have full and equal access to the event.
When the holder of a Companion Card purchases a ticket to the event, a second ticket will be issued for their companion at no charge, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Companion Card and not applicable for hospitality tickets. A ticket for a companion must be requested at the time of booking.

Can I bring my own fold-up chair?
Yes, we are encouraging fans to bring their own chairs. Hidden Valley is a natural amphitheater with plenty of natural and temporary shade throughout the venue.

Is the event family-friendly?
Absolutely! The MXGP of Australia event is suitable for fans of all ages, with plenty of activities for families to be announced soon. Please note this is a LOUD event, so we recommend you kit them out with some kind of ear protection!
Children 12 and under are free, and you are required to purchase a ticket for entry. Up to two children can be booked per paying adult.

What assistance is available for people with hidden disabilities?
The MXGP of Australia is proud to be partnering with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative this year. Sunflower lanyards will be free and available to collect from our event champion information booths. Sunflower lanyards assist with easy identification with staff and security for the purpose of accessing assistance at the event. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower information booth will be situated onsite within the Infield.
